Proposed Fourth and Final Addition to Advent

New restrooms and a gathering area with a kitchenette close to the sanctuary. Enlarged/reconfigured offices, meeting space, and a storage room with a custodian's sink/drain. Also, a more convenient sanctuary entrance with a circular drive.

When Advent built its first unit in 1971 (the Present Christian Ed Wing) and our sanctuary in 1980, followed by the 1995 Community Gym, we did not have a comprehensive final plan. This addition would result in a far more accommodating and flexible facility, even allowing two congregations to worship simultaneously. It would also address long-standing preschool safety and congregational access concerns while providing a superb facility for our mission to worship, invite, nurture, and serve, now and for future generations, building on the vision that enabled the first three major building projects.

What is an Endowment Fund?

Endowments are invested funds that provide an ongoing source of income to specific ministries beyond regular offerings. Advent has two endowments:

Advent Lutheran Church Endowment Fund
Managed by the Endowment Committee.
Ministry and Mission Fund
Managed by the ELCA.
